Pages has its own section in the caption panel

Turn splitting on or off, pick Replace or Stack up, set how many words show at a time, and set the gap between stacked lines. The same controls as the setup wizard.

One lane of phrase and pause chips. Click to select, Delete to remove and move on, Cmd+click to remove outright, and undo and redo instead of Restore All.

Pauses trim from either edge, like clips

Cmd+click leaves a little breathing room first, then removes the pause. A run of pauses can be collapsed in one action.

Retakes are found automatically after transcription

The button is now a re-run rather than the first step.

Re-opening the same file costs no transcription

The transcript is kept locally and matched by the audio itself.

New colours for the Pocket and Upper Dynamic templates

Pocket is now white, Upper Dynamic gets an electric blue highlight, and the look that used to be called Electric Blue is now Lime Punch.

Two word cut timeline bugs

Chips containing a cut ran under their neighbours, and ctrl or pinch zoom did nothing.

Elements were cropped in the gallery and drifted on non-vertical projects

Selection handles on the canvas were drawn far too large

The site failed to load for seven minutes on 25 August

A bad release took every page down. It is fixed, and a new check runs the real production build before anything ships.

It also gets its own card in the language grid, marked Last used, so you can see why it is there.

It lands where you put it and runs for two seconds. Paste several and they stack.

Gaps between words look even now

Spacing used to be measured from one letter's box to the next. It is now measured by the space you actually see, so italic and script fonts stop looking uneven.

Background removal costs less for short videos

You are now charged by the length of the video instead of a flat price per video.

The word panel opens on the Text section

Glow and gradient edges came out hard in cloud exports

This affected audio-only projects and any caption over the black bars. Soft edges now export the way they look in the editor.

Colour pickers showed a colour for looks that have no background

Drag a handle to choose the exit time. It stays where you put it even if you retime the words later.

Transcription sometimes gives one word a very long end time. Those timings are now corrected.

The Clip tab shows the design that clip uses, and the same customize sections open inside it.

Cards tell you what your edit will change

Either every clip, or just this clip.

The landing pages were not loading a web font at all.

Open the template you are using and every setting for it is there, one section at a time.

The Global tab is now called Video

It holds the settings for your footage: sound, opening hook, effects, punctuation and canvas.

The Word tab was rebuilt with the same controls

The controls you use most are at the top, and colour, animation and word background work the same way as they do on the template.

Sections stay open when you switch tabs

One control per setting instead of two

The duplicate colour picker, preset grid and font pane are gone, along with an effects section that had stopped working.

Changing a colour did not update its glow

Styles whose shadow follows the text colour now update from the template panel too, not just from the word controls.

Clicking the canvas with a word selected could blank the panel

Dynamic Lime had no way to recolour its supporting words

A project saved by a newer version could fail to open

Settings the current version does not recognise are now skipped instead of blocking the whole project.

Template variants change more than colour

Each named look changes at least two of font, treatment and motion, so picking one gives you something the colour picker could not.

MrBeast Flash uses the sticker style it was designed with

Italic captions overlapped

Slanted text was measured as if it were upright, so words were placed closer together than they render.

Some fonts were forced into a weight they do not have

A font asked for a weight it does not ship now uses the closest real one instead of a fake bold.

Picking a template before its font loaded left the words overlapping

A template's uppercase word came out in sentence case

Switching templates applies the template's own case

A template with its own capitalisation now uses it. One without keeps whatever you set by hand.

Editing one word reset the styling on another

A word you had moved, resized or recoloured was reset as soon as you edited any other word in the caption.

Dragging a caption broke its layout

Moving the position ball flattened the caption into plain rows and cleared the sizes you had set.

Changing a word's case did nothing on some templates

Free videos can be two minutes long, up from one

Free uploads go up to 300MB, and welcome credits to 300

Enough to take a full two-minute video from transcript to export without buying more.

Your plan's limits are shown before you pick a file

Length and size limits sit on the upload box instead of arriving as an error after the upload.

The welcome flow is two steps instead of four

Picking from a grid no longer moves the card you just tapped

New accounts were shown a changelog and an offer popup

Both are meant for returning users, so they are held back now.

Each word stays white and still while a coloured stroke sweeps across the bottom of it and stays there.

Highlight boxes have their own timing

Five sweeps to pick from, including a torn marker edge. Each has its own colour and does not follow how the word moves.

The motion elements gallery goes from 12 to 20

Ten new ones including a Backgrounds category. Every card now plays the real element instead of a stand-in.

Some gallery cards showed nothing where the preview should be

A video is not called damaged after one failed check

It now takes two failed attempts before the repair notice appears, and a check with no clear answer stays quiet instead of guessing.

Working videos were sometimes called damaged

The check competed with the preview for the browser's video decoders and read losing that race as a broken file. A refresh always cleared it.

An export could be reported as failed while it was still running

Checking progress too often got the check refused, and the export gave up. It now waits longer and allows a few refusals.

Plans open on top of your project

Upgrade prompts open the plan picker in place, so your editor and wizard state are kept.

The export dialog is rebuilt

The percentage is readable, and it only says it is safe to close the tab when the render really is running in the cloud.

Three of them went straight to monthly checkout and skipped the choice between monthly and annual.

A project could open with audio playing but no video

A failed browser storage write threw away the video it had just downloaded. Opening one project in two tabs was enough to cause it.

Closing the export dialog left no way to reopen it

A render that recovered still showed a failure message

Picking an animation did nothing on four templates

The animation was applied but only given a single frame to run in, so it never appeared.
