The team behind the captions
VideoCaptions.AI is built by a small independent team with one conviction: captions should be beautiful by default, not something you fight a template editor for while a server queue re-encodes your footage.
We make one thing fast and beautiful: word-by-word animated captions for short-form video. Upload a clip, get a word-level transcript in 99+ languages including Hindi and Hinglish, style it with karaoke, flash, typewriter, or pop effects, and export an MP4 with the captions burned in. Editing and export run entirely in your browser, which is why there is no render queue.
Along the way we built a set of free creator tools, a background remover, a video converter, a trimmer, a silence remover, and more, and published them with no signup wall. They run locally on your device, so they cost us almost nothing to operate and they cost you nothing to use.

Three things we won't compromise
Beautiful by default
You should not have to be a designer to get captions that look designed. Every style ships with curated fonts, colors, and motion, so the first render already looks right.
Your media stays yours
Editing and export run in your browser. Audio goes to our transcription API only to generate word timestamps, then it is deleted. The free tools never upload at all.
Built in public
The roadmap is public and shaped by user requests. Feature feedback lands directly with the people who build the product, not a ticket queue.
